Church of Santa María de Sorba

This church is part of the inventory of the Architectural Heritage of Catalonia. The original building is of Romanesque style, but during the 17th century, several modifications were carried out. The church is known for its Martyrum of Sant Eudald, from the 16th century. 

Iberian settlement of Sant Miquel de Sorba

It is an Iberian settlement, where archaeological works are still being carried out. It is situated over Turó de Sant Miquel, near the pre-Romanesque church of Sant Miquel de Sorba.

Museum of Mushrooms of Montmajor

It is situated at the city centre of Montmajor, in the ground floor of the old town hall. It shows 523 handmade ceramic pieces of mushrooms. Moreover, there are explanatory panels about the edible mushrooms.

Castle of Cardona

The castle of Carona is probably the most important Medieval fortress of Catalonia. It is situated over the hill, overlooking the salt valley and the Cardener valley.

Salt mines of Cardona

You will feel like a miner for a day. There is a guided tour of 500m through the galleries, which are 86m deep inside the Mountain of Salt. There, you will see the incredible relief and the curious seams with a wide variety of minerals.

Colonia Vidal in Puig Reig

The Museum of Colonia Vidal offers you the chance of going back into time. You will be shown the life and work at this textile community at the beginning of the 20th century. This extensive trip around the community explains the real life of a remarkable moment of contemporary history in Spain and its industrialization.

Tren del Cemento

Historically, the train known as "Tren del Cemento" connected the former cement factory of Asland de Castellar de n'Hug with Guardiola de Berguedà. Nowadays, it is an interesting and beautiful journey stopping in Pobla de Lillet, the Artigas gardens designed by Antoni Gaudí, and finishing next to the facilities of Clot del Moro, where you can visit the Museum of Cement.

Sierra and prison of Busa

This area surrounded by impressive cliffs is situated in the municipality of Navès. It is a natural watchtower separated from the plain by a deep crevice. It was used as a prison during the war, since it was only accessible through a ramp which was removed after taking the prisoners.

Church of the Monastery Sant Pere de Graudescales

This is a Romanesque church from the 12th century, located at the foot of the mountains Busa, over the banks of the Aguadora river. It is isolated, in the middle of a beautiful landscape, in the municipality of Navès. The church is the only building which remains from the old Monastery of Benedictine monks.

Church of Sant Esteve de Olius and Modernist graveyard

This church is a good sample of the Lombard Romanesque style of Catalonia of the 11th century. It has got a remarkable crypt. Next to the church, there is the Modernist graveyard of Bernadí Martorell, which shows a combination of architecture and nature; a unique example in Catalonia.

Catheedral of Solsona

It is a Catholic temple situated in the village of Solsona. It is formed by a group of buildings dating from the end of the 12th century to the 18th century. It combines the Romanesque, the Gothic and the Baroque styles. Inside the church to the right, you can see the chapel of the cloister, where the Virgin of Claustre (patron saint of the village) is venerated. It is a stone sculpture from the end of the 12th century, which is considered as one of the most important sculptures of the Romanesque style in Catalonia.

Solsona, a great experience

The historical centre of Solsona shows the same structure as when it was a fortified town. It preserves three entrance gates: Pont, Castell, and Llobera, as well as some parts of the wall in Vall Calent and the ice pool, where the ice was preserved.

Sanctuary of Miracle

Natural Park Cadí-Moixeró

This is the second largest Natural Park in Catalonia. Here, you can see a wide variety of fauna and flora species. Mountain and nature lovers will find a landscape in which limestones and water have designed a steep relief. The mountain ranges of Cadí, Moixerí, Pedrafora, Tossa and Puigllançada are the most oustanding mountains of the park.
